Jenni Levy joins The Builder School administration as the Chief Academic Officer. Formerly the General Studies Principal at the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey, Mrs. Levy is a passionate and knowledgeable advocate for education. She comes with a strong focus on improving the quality of high school education, particularly for driven students interested in specializing in core academic fields and careers.
Jenni has been in the field of education for over sixteen years. During her career, she also served as Chief Academic Officer at Magen David Yeshivah High School. Her experience in building and strengthening educational systems has positively impacted both faculty and students' overall growth.
A lifelong learner, Jenni is always looking to grow. She holds an undergraduate degree from Stern College, a master's degree in Gifted Education from Teachers College at Columbia University and a law degree from Fordham University, as well as a graduate degree in Jewish History from Bernard Revel School of Jewish Studies at Yeshiva University and a master's degree in Educational Administration from Seton Hall University.
Jenni lives in Teaneck, New Jersey, with her husband, three children, and two dogs. She has degrees in American Studies from Stern College, Yeshiva University, Gifted Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, Educational Administration from Seton Hall University, and a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law. Funded by Avi Chai, Jenni has attended the Art of Leadership training at Harvard University. She has 60+ combined credits from Columbia University and Bernard Revel Graduate School towards a PhD in American Jewish History at Revel. <
br> In addition to being licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey, Jenni holds certifications as a teacher, supervisor, and principal. She is currently the Director of English Language Arts and Testing for the Gerrard Berman Day School, where she also teaches Language Arts for students in grades 5-8. Additionally, she has worked as a teacher at Ma'ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls, New Milford Public Schools, and the Bergen County Academies. She did her student teaching at Bronx High School of Science and Hunter College High School.
Jenni owns a consulting, teaching, and tutoring company, Bulldog Educational Services and Training, LLC. She has led professional development in blended learning, state and national standards alignment, data analysis, curriculum development, assessment, instructional leadership, educational technology, and strategic management and planning.
